Homemade Alfredo Sauce




Homemade Alfredo Sauce




 My favorite way to serve this recipe is with some warm bread sticks and use it as a dipping sauce! I could easily eat half a bowl of this all by myself that way!

 

Ingredients
 
  • 8 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano
  • ¼ cup finely diced fresh oregano
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Olive Oil 2 Tbsp
Instructions
  1. In a warm pan place the olive oil, garlic, and oregano.
  2. Sautee until tender.
  3. Pour in heavy whipping cream, and on low heat stir the ingredients.
  4. Add the parmesan, and continue to stir until the sauce begins to thicken (approximately 4 minutes)
  5. Blend in salt, pepper to taste
